News Spencer Hawes' Tweets Unable to Sway Presidential Election
"I'm disappointed," said Hawes. "Very disappointed. I was hoping my 30,914 followers wait. Make that 30,910. Looks like I got unfollowed by a few more people. Anyway, I was hoping my 30,904 followers would be enough to tip the election. But they weren't. And now freedom and liberty are dead."
The former Washington Huskies and Sacramento Kings player said he expects things to get much worse now that Obama has a second term.
"No hope. No change. Nobama," he said, echoing a tweet from @spencerhawes00. "Are we really better off than we were four years ago? I know I'm not. I was a starter in Sacramento four years ago. I'm not here and it's only going to get worse. When Andrew Bynum comes back, my playing time will drop even more. But that's Obama's America."
