News Don Cherry Wears Stunning Floor-Length Gown for Latest "Hockey Night in Canada" Broadcast

Hockey commentator Don Cherry turned heads Monday night when he ditched his bright, showy, floral-patterned suits for a conservative, floor-length, yellow gown.

"Sometimes I'm just not in the mood to overdo it," Cherry admitted off-set. "I feel like this dress is classy and conveys a more serious tone."

The Vera Wang gown earned rave reviews. The show's producer called it "refined," while other staffers described the look as "pleasantly slimming," "more manly than what he normally wears," and "damn, he's got a tight, little body under there."

While Cherry tried to talk hockey during the broadcast, co-host Ron MacLean kept trying to push the conversation to Cherry's attire. Initially Cherry humored him, displaying the grace and self-control befitting his clothing choice, but after several minutes had passed, the long-time broadcaster exploded:

"STOP ASKING ABOUT MY DRESS AND LET'S START TALKING ABOUT THESE PANSY EUROPEAN PLAYERS WHO ARE RUINING THE SPORT WE LOVE WITH THEIR GIRLISH WAYS!" he screamed, sweat and bile pouring down the front of the gown.
