Gerald Ford
Gerald Ford was a star football player at Michigan. Mercifully, he died in 2006 a full season before Rich Rodriguez took over the Wolverines.
John F. Kennedy
John F. Kennedy was a well-rounded athlete. His greatest athletic achievement was sleeping with more women than NBA superstar Wilt Chamberlain, including Chamberlain's own mother.
Dwight Eisenhower
Dwight Eisenhower was a star halfback for Army, played semi-pro baseball and was a good golfer. Unfortunately, this came decades before he could have made millions on an "Ike Wears Nike" ad campaign.
George W. Bush
George W. Bush played baseball and was able to run 7-minute miles even as president in his late 50s. Also, as owner of the Texas Rangers, he signed off on the trade that sent a young Sammy Sosa out of town, further making the case that he was a typical dumb jock.
Barack Obama
Barack Obama was a starting guard for his high school basketball team in Hawaii. Some also insist he led Team Kenya to gold at the 1980 Socialist Games.
George Washington
George Washington was tall, strong and legend says his arm was so powerful he could throw a rock over a river. He was the 3rd overall pick in the NFL Draft, but was a massive bust, fell out of the league and turned to politics. (Note: Some of this might be slightly confused with Heath Shuler's life story.)
Abraham Lincoln
While not much of an athlete, Abraham Lincoln helped coach the Union to a resounding victory over the powerful SEC.
