Mustafa Abu Yazid, a leader of the terrorist organization, said in a 40-second video that the attack was in response to the "legacy of debauchery left behind by the Zionist Favre."
The stadium's roof was originally reported to have collapsed under the weight of heavy snowfall, but Yazid's claims dispute this, arguing that it was actually sunny and warm in Minneapolis and that a remote explosive device caused the damage.
"The transgressions of Favre, the Vikings organization, the NFC, and their many Jewish allies have too long gone unpunished. Before sunrise we struck mercilessly, giving fat, slovenly Americans one fewer venue for indulging in their barbarian sport," said Yazid, while affixing a bomb to an adorable lamb.
Added Yazid: "Allah has enabled us to cause unimaginable havoc at the ticket agencies, where processing thousands of refunds will probably back up office operations for a week or so. And, too, think of all the people who might have to leave work early on Monday nowit will be a real mess."
The video, released on several Islamist Websites, also blasted the Vikings for underutilizing Adrian Peterson, an affront that they noted was worse than a prostitute wearing short pants in public.
