The Chinese government sent their athletes off the Vancouver today, but not before holding a large threat really at the Chinese Olympic Training Facility. "Please know that the entire country is behind you and supporting you," said Chinese Olympic Team chairman Li Xian. "But also know that if you fail, if you don't win gold, we will make life very hard for you and your family. Go now. Compete!" Chinese ski jumper Yan Zicheng said the threat rally was just what he needed. "I want to do well," he said. "At the same time, I hate my family for putting me in the Olympic program, so I'd be fine with them having a terrible life."
