Your friend Steve makes U.S. Olympic curling team on a whim

Steve, your friend from college, successfully made the U.S. Olympic curling team after stumbling upon the national team's practice Saturday night. "I was out at Sam's Lanes bowling and having a few beers," said Steve. "Apparently the curling team practices out back in the alley by the dumpster." Steve went outside to smoke, struck up a conversation with the team, gave curling a try and discovered he has a knack for it. "Steve is one of most natural curlers I've seen in my 11 days of curling," said national team captain Scott Jones. Steve has changed his Facebook status to: "Going to Vancouver, gettin my 'Lympics on."
