Allen Iverson not practicing to stay in game shape

Even though he has announced his retirement, sources close to Allen Iverson say he would be open to returning to action with a team this season and is therefore staying in game shape by not practicing. "I want to play a game, not practice," said Iverson. "If an opportunity comes up and it's a team I want to play for, I think I'll be ready to go right away due to the amount of not practicing I'm doing." Iverson says he is not practicing to the degree he thinks he could play the rest of his life.
