Knicks go on 8-13 scoring run

The New York Knicks went on an 8-13 scoring run last night, their best stretch of the season so far, and the highlight of a 27-point loss. “We really were rolling there for a bit,” said head coach Mike D’Antoni. “To only fall five more points behind our opponent over a six-minute span is really encouraging. It give me hope.” D’Antoni said he will review tape from the 8-13 stretch for clues as to what was working for his team. “I hope we can learn a lot from it,” he said. “Although I fear it was only because it was the end of the game and they had cleared their bench and we still had all of our starters in. We’ll have to try to recreate those conditions again soon.”
