SportsPickle Fan Girl: Jacque (Mercer University, Macon, GA)

SP:Do you have any sports background?

Jacque:I was always the little girl growing up playing sports with all the boys! Neighborhood baseball was by far my favorite!! I played varsity softball in high school. I do not play any sports in college, but love coed flag football!

SP:Football fan, eh? Too bad you don't go to GCSU in Milledgeville – you could have met Ben Roethlisberger! So what is your favorite sport to watch?

Jacque:Let's see … favorite to watch live is baseball or hockey. It's just more intense when you are there in person … especially when a fight breaks out. Favorite sport to watch on TV would have to be football just because Monday Night Football can be a party and it's always fun hanging out with your friends, eating nachos and watching an aggressive game.

SP:It sounds like all of your friends are as rowdy as all of my friends. Who is your favorite team? Favorite athlete?

Jacque:College football it's the Florida Gators and Georgia Tech (Shhhh. I know that's a sin). Favorite MLB team is the Braves (duh it's my states team), but my heart is truly with the New York Yankees. NFL team: Colts or the Cowboys (I guess I am a sports ho … I can't just pick one team I like multiples in each sport haha).

SP:Anything else interesting you want to add?

Emily:Umm … I just recently got into soccer … never played a day in my life, but I must say it's a real athlete's sport. Pretty intense … and I have yet to see an ugly professional soccer player so its quite enjoyable to watch!Also, I am a huge basketball fan. I love playing with friends and watching it live. One of my ultimate goals in life is to sit court-side at a game!
