Georgia’s Uga Delights Crowd by Mauling Infant in LSU Pajamas

Georgia’s 34-14 upset victory over LSU on Saturday in the SEC Championship game may have sent their fans away happy from the Georgia Dome, but it was the actions of the school’s famed mascot – Uga – before kickoff that truly riled up the Bulldog faithful.

As the two teams went through pre-game warm-ups, Uga trotted on to the sidelines with his official handler, seemingly calm and collected. But suddenly, spotting a toddler dressed in an LSU outfit near the Tigers cheerleaders, the famed bulldog sprang to action, ripping and tearing into the child’s face and midsection.

After five to 10 seconds of the unchecked carnage, the little boy’s screams finally silenced when the enraged Uga tore out its voice box, shocked witnesses managed to pull the dog away.

            But it was too late.

The child’s LSU purple and yellow p.j.’s saturated deep red in his own blood, his face – where a Tigers logo was stenciled just seconds before – mangled beyond recognition, his left arm almost completely torn away – he was dead.

And the Georgia partisans immediately rose to their feet in joyous applause.

“That was the most awesome thing I’ve ever seen,” exclaimed Paul Ruth, a Georgia alum. “What a way to get up for a game! Nothing has ever gotten me more pumped to watch the Bulldogs.”

“We all thought Uga couldn’t be loved any more than he already was by the Georgia faithful, but then he goes and does something like this. Just outstanding,” said Mary Robinson, president of the school’s alumni association. “I guess this should serve as a warning to everyone out there – look at Uga wrong and he’ll rip you apart, even if you’re a little kid.”

For those fans who weren’t lucky enough to see the attack with their own eyes, the Georgia Dome’s facilities media director obliged them by showing a replay of the bloody mauling more than a dozen times on the arena Jumbotron.

Each replay was met with a chorus of boos from LSU fans, while Georgia backers continued to applaud and high-five.

“Sure, some might say showing the attack over and over and over was in bad taste, but my job here is to give fans what they want and keep them entertained,” said Michael Rivera, the Georgia Dome’s facilities media director. “And that’s all I was trying to do. Plus, that was a totally awesome attack. I immediately downloaded a copy on to my computer and put it up on my blog.”

Atlanta police are currently trying to find Uga and his handler to euthanize the animal and possibly make an arrest, but the dog has been difficult to track down as he has been feted at party after party by powerful Georgia alumni since Saturday.
