D.J. Shockley completed 54.1 percent of his passes at Georgia, was a 7th Round draft pick in 2006 and then never threw a pass in the NFL. Sign up today! Space is limited! (Oh, and as the information above clearly requests, stop spamming Jessica, jerks.)

Applications for the 2012 camp are probably down slightly.

#2 – Dave Bliss Basketball Camps

While head coach at Baylor, Bliss infamously tried to frame a murdered player as a drug dealer to cover up the fact that he had been giving money to the slain player. Who knows what Bliss might do to campers who are late getting back from water breaks.

#1 – Jose Canseco Baseball Camp

The 10 Worst Sports Summer Camps of All-Time – Image 6

Jose Canseco Baseball Camp was not an actual baseball camp. It was an instructional VHS tape for kids, but the video did feature Canseco teaching children the basics of baseball. The video was broken into six chapters:

  • Batting
  • Base Running
  • Outfield Play
  • Nutrition
  • Weight Lifting
  • First Aid

No doubt the Nutrition and Weight Lifting sections are compelling television even today. And the First Aid section probably touches less on cuts and bruises and more on things like bacne and how to deal with kidney and liver failure. You know, kid stuff!
