VH1 Cancels Shayne Graham Reality Dating Show After One Episode

Representatives of VH1 have announced that "My Shayne Squeeze", a reality dating show featuring former Cincinnati Bengals kicker Shayne Graham, has been canceled after just one episode.

Executives blame the fact that the show wasn't able to capitalize on the built-in audience from shows featuring current Bengals teammates Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens. The show garnered the third lowest Nielsen numbers in the history of the network, narrowly edging out "Dustin Diamond Eats Bugs" and "Gonorrhea or Syphilis?" for the bottom spot.

In the pilot, Graham met 25 women from the greater Ohio area whose looks ranged from "moderately" to "very very far below moderately" attractive. Problems arose early during shooting, as 17 of the women had no idea who Graham was even after he introduced himself, and eight still remained clueless even after the episode had been shot.

One woman, Beatrice from Sandusky, mistakenly referred to him as "Graham" at first and continued to do so even after being corrected several times. It was later discovered that at least four of the women were men at some point in their lives.

"It's disappointing, sure," said Graham, "but it was a great experience that I wouldn't trade for the world. I'm just happy to be able to go back home and focus on football and spending more time with my wife and kids."

Despite the poor returns VH1 has announced their still planning on going through with "Rack 'Em Up", where kicker Neil Rackers travels the globe eating baby back ribs, staring at women's racks, and probably a few other activities that have 'rack' in their name. The Grammatica brothers will act as executive producers.
