SP:Do you have any sports background?
Amanda:Eh, I did play sports as a kid but I think my parents made me try out for them more than me really wanting to play them. I always faked an injury in 8th grade basketball so I could sit on the bench and 87% of the time I said I was sick in softball. I quit after one year of that.Maybe that's why the one year I faked my illness all those times we won the championship.
In high school I did go out for field hockey on my own. I wanted a kilt-only reason. I played for 3 years and it was probably the best sport i've actually played.
SP:No shame in that. Shaq has faked many physical ailments, only to win a title later in the year. Well, while you're pretending you are ill, what is your favorite sport to watch?
Amanda:Baseball is by far my favorite sport to watch. Tailgating before a baseball game early in the morning for me is like a 3-year-old getting up at 5 a.m. to open Christmas presents. That's how we do it in Wisconsin. Especially at Miller Park.
SP: Trevor Hoffman will lead anyone to drink.Who is your favorite team? Favorite athlete?
Amanda:Milwaukee Brewers. I am a true fan and wish I could go to more games. Ryan Braun is by far the sexiest Jew around. He knows how to swing his Hebrew hammer.
SP:You saying Kevin Youkilis isn't hot? Agree to disagree. Okay, anything else interesting you want to add?
Amanda:In 5th grade I played soccer. I think I hated it cause of all the running (I was a fat kid). No one ever passed me the ball cause I sucked…hard. One game I got the ball and was open for the goal shot down the field. It was like one of those cheesy sports movies where everything was in slow motion around me and I started to kick the ball down the field. I thought everyone was cheering for me, yet everyone was yelling "WRONG WAY"and "TURN AROUND". Before I knew it I scored a goal in my own goal. I probably was denied a rice krispie square and capri sun after the game.
SP: Which was the true tragedy for your fat, 5th grade self.
