Texas quarterback Colt McCoy will be back under center for Texas' next game in the college football playoffs, head coach Mack Brown reported today. "Luckily, he only went down in a first round game, so we were able to beat a still overmatched opponent and advance," he said. "But we'll need him at 100-percent now. This is when the college football playoffs get really exciting. And that's why the college football playoffs are the most exciting event we have in sports." With a healthy McCoy, Texas is now a heavy title favorite because top seed Alabama looked very weak in its opening game. "I'd have to admit," said Alabama head coach Nick Saban. "If Texas has a healthy McCoy, they'd beat us fairly soundly right now."
